We’re 1st Bootscout Scout group, part of The Scouts and everyone is welcome here. Every week, we help our members aged 4-25 develop skills for life. Are you ready to join the adventure?
Running Scouts
Activities
Our activity finder is bursting with programme ideas, and can be searched by section, time, cost, setting, type or learning outcomes.
Badges
Master something you love, or try something shiny and new. These badges allow a young person to gain whichever badge is appropriate to the level they have reached.
Nights away
Whether camping, hostelling, or sleepovers, nights away form an integral part of Scouts, which every young person should have an opportunity to take part in.
POR
Scouts’ Policy Organisation and Rules (POR) provides support and guidance to help us all run Scouts.

Learn more about the training for your role and how you can prepare young people with skills for life.
Squirrels can achieve anything they set their minds to – and they have lots of fun along the way.
Ages 4-6 years
Beavers achieving anything they set their minds to, and having lots of fun along the way.
Ages 6-8 years
Cubs take part in lots of interesting and challenging activities – achieving anything they set their minds to, and having lots of fun along the way.
Ages 8-10 1/2 years
Week in and week out, Scouts gather in groups called Scout Troops to conquer the small task of changing the world.
Ages 10 1/2-14 years
